Dr. Ramos provides confidential psychiatric and sexual and reproductive health services through a HIPAA-compliant tele-behavioral health platform. All sessions and services are delivered remotely or through referral to a collaborating local laboratory of the patient’s choosing. Patients throughout New York State can access psychiatric care from the privacy, safety, and comfort of their homes. Prescriptions are electronically transferred to the patient’s preferred local or mail-order pharmacy. Patients typically receive a prescription every 30 days provided treatment is clinically stable.
Dr. Ramos received his PhD in social welfare from SUNY Albany, and his Master of Clinical Social Work (MSW) degree from New York University.
In addition, he holds a graduate degree from the Duke University School of Nursing in nurse practitioner primary care and HIV specialization and a graduate post-masters psychiatric mental health certificate across the lifespan from Adelphi University.
Dr. Ramos also earned a graduate degree in management from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU and a graduate degree in public health from the Global Health Leadership NYU MPH Program.
